Citric Acid Monohydrate (E330)
Citric acid monohydrate (E330), also known as: Acid 2-hydroxy-1,2,3-propanetricarboxylic. It is a transparent, slightly yellowish liquid. It is suitable for food applications as an additive (E330). Highly soluble in water and ethanol and chemically and microbiologically stable.
It is found in nature as the acid of citrus fruits. It is a 100% biodegradable product.
Its main application is as a food additive, although it also has a large number of applications for industrial, professional and home use.
