Vibration Sensor for Reporting Vehement Vibrations
The Vibration Sensor XCK-M/Weight activates an internal microswitch when subjected to strong vibrations. When the microswitch is activated, the vibration sensor changes the state of a potential-free relay from open to closed (13/14) and from closed to open (21/22).
The vibration sensor is typically part of the safety chain and will activate to stop the machine, for example, a turbine.
Sensitivity Adjustment
- The sensitivity can be adjusted by moving the weight up or down.
