Conductive Level Controller CLD2EA1CM24

Conductive Level Controller CLD2EA1CM24

Carlo Gavazzi CLD2EA1CM24 Conductive Level Sensor

The CLD2EA1CM24 conductive level sensor from Carlo Gavazzi is a device designed to control the level of liquids in tanks and containers. It uses low-voltage AC electrodes to detect the presence or absence of liquid, activating a relay output that can be used to control pumps, alarms, or other functions.

Technical Features

  • Model: CLD2EA1CM24
  • Type: 2-point level controller
  • Adjustable Sensitivity: 5 KΩ to 150 KΩ (potentiometer)

Applications

  • Filling and emptying

Other Features

  • Electrodes: Low-voltage AC
  • Installation: 17.5 mm DIN rail
  • Nominal Voltage: 24 VAC/DC
  • Relay Output: 8A/250 VAC, SPST (Single Pole Single Throw)
  • LED Indication: Output and power connected

Connection

- Connection Cable: PVC of 2, 3 or 4 conductors, normally shielded. Maximum length: 100 m.

- Resistance between conductor wire and ground: minimum 500KΩ

- It is recommended to use shielded cable between the probe and the relay, especially if the cable is placed parallel to the power cables.

Important Notes

The reference (Ref) must be connected to the tank or an additional electrode if the tank is made of a non-conductive material. The connection is made at pin Y3.

To detect only one level, interconnect inputs Y1 and Y2.
