CLE1 Conductive Level Sensor CARLO GAVAZZI

The compact and flexible CLE1 level probe from Carlo Gavazzi is designed to measure the level of conductive liquids. It offers a versatile solution for applications requiring precise level control, such as:

• Overfilling
• Protection against running dry
• Pump control

Technical Description

The CLE1 measurement system consists of the following elements:

• Multi-probe head: Allows connection of 1 to 5 electrodes.
• Electrodes (1-5): Available in different lengths, which can be customized using extension units with or without insulation.
• Control unit: Receives signals from the electrodes and generates outputs to control the system.

Additional Features

• Electrode length can be freely defined using extension units, with or without insulation.
• The connection cable is PVC, available in 2, 3, 4 or 5 conductors, normally shielded. The maximum cable length is 100 m.
• The resistance between the conductor wire and ground must be at least 200 kΩ.

Operation

The CLE1 operates by detecting changes in the alternating current created when the electrodes are in contact with the liquid. Integrated relays react to these changes, activating or deactivating the outputs according to the system configuration.
