For general purpose bar code label applications, use 3M Thermal Transfer Label Materials 7818. It’s ideal for flexo printed branding, warnings or instruction label applications.
Our 83 micron 7818 has a matt topcoat smooth enough for thermal transfer printing, and combines good print definition with chemical and abrasion resistance.
The 310 adhesive resists oozing and provides a high bond strength for a variety of high surface energy substrates.
This label material is the perfect balance of price and product performance.
3M Performance Label Stock Materials offer a wide range of products for long term durability and adhesion with automotive chemical resistance and outdoor durability. Some products are UL/CSA compliant materials that can be printed by flexographic or screen print processes, as well as thermal transfer, digital printing, inkjet, laser or dot matrix printing.
Available with many facestocks such as polyester, polypropylene, vinyl, pharmaceutical papers or synthetics. Please refer to individual product datapage for specific product details.
