CLE1K Conductive Level Sensor CARLO GAVAZZI

The CLE1K is a compact and flexible level probe designed to measure the level of conductive liquids. It offers features such as overfill control, dry run protection, and pump control.

Technical Description

The complete measurement system consists of:

• Multi-probe Head: Connects the electrodes to the connection cable.
• 1-5 Electrodes: Allow for level detection through conductivity.
• Control Unit: Receives signals from the electrodes and activates control functions.

Electrode length can be customized using extension units, with or without insulation.

Connection

The connection cable is PVC with 2, 3, 4, or 5 conductors, normally shielded. The maximum cable length is 100 m.

The resistance between the conductor wire and ground must be at least 200 kΩ.

It is recommended to use a shielded cable between the probe and the relay, especially when placed parallel to power cables. The conductor screen should be connected to Y5 (reference).
