The LID-3300IP ice detector has been specially developed for wind turbines in cold climates. The ultrasonic based ice detector LID-3300IP offers many distinctive advantages. The device has a compact design that allows quick installation of ipcs. It is immediately operational without calibration and is suitable for wind turbines of all manufacturers, even for older wind turbines. LID-3300IP can be easily connected to wind turbine monitoring systems using relay, power message, serial traffic or TCP/IP connections. Icing status, alarms and parameters can be tracked and processed via the WWW user interface integrated in the device.
