Containing 85% zinc, Interzinc 22 is an ideal zinc-rich silicate primer for steel in aggressive, corrosive environments. Rapid recoat technology allows faster throughput of coated steel, greatly enhancing productivity. Interzinc 22 conforms to SSPC Paint 20 Level  and ASTM D20 D520 Type II and can also be used as a tank lining for the carriage of different chemical cargoes.A zinc rich primer suitable for use with a wide range of high performance systems and topcoats in both maintenance and new construction of bridges, tanks, pipework, offshore structures and structural steelwork. Interzinc 22 can also be used as tank coating suitable for the carriage of different chemical cargoes (e.g. styrene) according to International Paint’s chemical resistance guide.Provides excellent corrosion protection for correctly prepared steel substrates, up to temperatures of 540°C (1004°F) when suitably topcoated.Fast curing primer capable of application in a wide range of climatic conditions.Part of the Interzinc 22 Series of products.A two component, rapid recoat, fast curing solvent based inorganic zinc rich ethyl silicate primer.Conforms to SSPC Paint 20 Level 1.Available in ASTM D520, Type II zinc dust version as standard.
