Steca Power Tarom 4055 Solar Charge Regulator

The Steca Power Tarom 4055 is a solar charge regulator designed for industrial and outdoor applications. It offers IP65 protection thanks to its powder-coated steel housing.

Technical Specifications

  • Battery Voltage: 48 V
  • Nominal Charge Current: 55 A
  • Controller Type: PWM
  • Maximum Solar Voltage (V): 100 V
  • Protection Grade: IP65
  • Dimensions: 360 x 330 x 190 mm

Description

This solar charge regulator allows you to manage photovoltaic systems up to 8,400 Wp in three voltage levels (12 V, 24 V and 48 V). It is based on Steca Tarom regulator technology and can be connected in parallel with other units of the same model to achieve powers exceeding 20 kWp.

The P.Tarom 4055 is designed to work with both maintenance-free and conventional batteries, protecting and caring for them optimally. It performs a cycle divided into four stages (bulk, absorption, float and equalization) that can be programmed and adjusted to any type of lead battery.

Functions

  • PWM Stepped Discharge System: Automatically selects the system voltage and adjusts the solar panel voltage to that of the batteries.
  • Automatic Load Disconnect and Reconnect: Prevents overcharging and deep discharges.
  • Monthly Charge Compensation: Prevents stratification that can affect the service life of the storage equipment.
  • Generator Output: Allows automatic starting of a generator through an auxiliary relay.

LCD Display

The P.Tarom 4055 features an LCD display that shows the battery charge status and voltage and current values supplied to the battery.
