Residual Current Relay

Residual Current Relay RCQ

The residual current relay (RCQ) is a protective device used in electrical systems to detect and interrupt the flow of fault currents.

These relays operate by monitoring the difference between the incoming and outgoing currents in a circuit. When the difference, known as the residual current, exceeds a predetermined threshold, the relay trips, interrupting the power supply to prevent damage or injury.
