This fiber optic converter features integrated optical diagnostics and an alarm contact. It supports RS-232 interfaces up to 115.2 kbps. The unit is a T-coupler with two fiber optic interfaces (FSMA) operating at 660 nm, designed for use with polymer / PCF fiber cable.
