Description

GLEITMO 585 K is a high-quality lithium soap paste based on synthetic oil. It contains a synergistically acting combination of white solid lubricants that damp shock loads and reduce wear. GLEITMO 585 K is effective against fretting corrosion and allows long lubrication intervals.

Areas of Application

GLEITMO 585 K is used for bearings and lubricating points of all kinds which are subject to particularly high requirements. At lubrication points which are endangered by fretting corrosion or exposed to oscillating movements, vibrations. Because of its white color, GLEITMO 585 K is also used in industries where cleanliness is important, including textile and paper processing, filling and packaging machines.

Application

• For rolling bearings, fill the free space in the bearing and housing only to about 30 to 50 % with GLEITMO 585 K.
• In the case of bearings which rotate very slowly, the housing can be filled completely with GLEITMO 585 K.
• GLEITMO 585 K can be pumped with automatic lubrication equipment.
• Do not mix with greases of other soap bases. Please consult us in case of doubt.
