Thermostats: Capillary and Bulb Types, Remote Mounting

This section describes capillary and bulb thermostats, focusing on their remote mounting capabilities.

• Capillary Thermostats: These thermostats utilize a thin capillary tube filled with a refrigerant fluid. The fluid expands or contracts based on temperature changes, which in turn moves a pointer on the thermostat dial.
• Bulb Thermostats: Similar to capillary thermostats, bulb thermostats also use a refrigerant fluid within a bulb-shaped sensor. Temperature variations cause the fluid to expand or contract, pushing a lever that activates the switching mechanism.

Both capillary and bulb thermostats can be mounted remotely from the controlled device. This allows for greater flexibility in placement and can be particularly useful in applications where direct access to the thermostat is limited.
