Conductive Level Controller CLD2EA1C230 CARLO GAVAZZI

Carlo Gavazzi CLD2EA1C230 Conductive Level Sensor

The CLD2EA1C230 conductive level sensor from Carlo Gavazzi is a device designed to control the level of liquids in tanks and containers. It uses low-voltage AC electrodes to detect the presence or absence of liquid, activating relays that can be used to control pumps, alarms, or other functions.

Technical Features

  • Model: CLD2EA1C230
  • Type: 2-point conductive level controller
  • Power Supply: 230 VAC
  • Sensitivity Range: 250 ohm - 500 Kohm
  • Outputs: 2 DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) relay outputs
  • Output Current: 8A
  • Output Voltage: 250 VAC
  • Mounting: DIN rail
  • Function: Max./min. control (filling/emptying)
  • LED Indication: Output and power connected
  • Dimensions: 35.5x81x60.2mm
  • Protection Degree: IP20

Connection

- The connection cable is PVC with 2, 3 or 4 conductors, normally shielded.

- The maximum cable length is 100 m.

- The resistance between the conductor wire and ground must be at least 500K.

- It is recommended to use a shielded cable between the probe and the relay, especially if it is placed in parallel with the power cables.

Applications

  • Level control in liquid tanks
  • Filling and emptying detection
  • Alarm systems for low or high levels
  • Automation of industrial processes

Note

- To detect only one level, interconnect the Y1 and Y2 inputs.
