Air Choke Plate
The air choke plate is a component found in some internal combustion engines. Its primary function is to restrict the airflow into the engine during cold starts.
When the engine is cold, the air choke plate partially closes, increasing the air/fuel ratio and allowing for a richer mixture. This helps the engine to start more easily in cold temperatures.
As the engine warms up, the air choke plate gradually opens, allowing more airflow into the engine and returning to a normal air/fuel ratio.
