ACRALOCK SA1 Structural Adhesives
The ACRALOCK SA1 series adhesives are two-component, medium viscosity, highly developed structural adhesives based on methyl methacrylate with a 1:1 mixing ratio. They are characterized by high tensile strength combined with excellent peel resistance, excellent fatigue values and an average elongation at break of approx. 50-75%.
These adhesives are also very suitable for bonding without primer metals, thermosetting materials and thermoplastics, as well as difficult-to-bond surfaces such as plated materials, RIM p-DCPD components and nylon.
Ideal for a Wide Range of Applications
The combination of minimal substrate pretreatment (a1,2), fast curing (a5) (which results in short cycle times) and the absence of marks on the bond line to the surface make the SA1 Series the ideal tool for a wide range of thin film composite bonding applications.
Available Processing Times
The SA1 series is available in processing times of 5 minutes, 15 minutes and 60 minutes, and is already used by many renowned manufacturers in various industrial sectors as an adhesive for bonding high-strength components. The SA1 series is supplied in ready-to-use 50 ml and 400 ml cartridges and in 20 liter pails and 200 liter drums that can be applied with standard adhesive dispensing equipment.
