Adaptable Thermoplastic Boxes IP65

These boxes are available in gray RAL7035 and are impact-resistant, withstanding impacts up to 6 joules (IK10). They offer dimensional stability from -25 to +75 °C.

Metal and Plastic Junction Boxes

IP ratings indicate the level of protection against dust and water ingress. The first digit refers to dust protection, while the second digit refers to water protection.

IP Rating Chart

• 0 - No protection
• 1 - Protected against solid objects up to 50mm (e.g., accidental contact with a hand) and protected against dripping water.
• 2 - Protected against solid objects up to 12mm (e.g., fingers) and protected against dripping water.
• 3 - Protected against solid objects up to 2.5mm (tools and wires) and protected against direct spray of water at angles up to 15° from the vertical.
• 4 - Protected against solid objects up to 1mm (small tools and wires) and protected against spraying water from all directions.
• 5 - Protected against dust; limited ingress, not forming harmful deposits. Protected against jets of water at low pressure.
• 6 - Totally protected against dust. Protected against jets of water at high pressure (can be used on boat decks).
• 7 - Protected against the effects of immersion between 15cm and 1m.
• 8 - Protected against prolonged periods of immersion under pressure.

IK Rating

The IK rating indicates the level of protection against mechanical impacts.
