MDT-A Heatshrink Tubing
MDT-A is a medium wall Polyolefin heatshrink tubing with hot melt adhesive. It has a shrink ratio of up to 4.5:1, a minimum shrink temperature of 135°C, and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +130°C.
MDT-A is halogen free and PBDE free, providing good chemical resistance and IP 68 sealing. It is specially designed for tough and flexible insulation, making it ideal for protecting cable joints and terminations in outdoor applications.
Adhesive Layer
MDT-A comes with a specially designed hot melt adhesive layer applied during the extrusion process. This ensures a very smooth, constant adhesive layer that guarantees excellent sealing properties.
