3M™ HDT-AN Heatshrink Tubing
3M™ HDT-AN is a thickwall polyolefin heatshrink tubing with coextruded hot melt adhesive. It has a shrink ratio of up to 4:1, a minimum shrink temperature of 135°C, and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +130°C.
HDT-AN provides good chemical resistance, IP 68 sealing, and is halogen free. The tubing's toughness and durability make it well suited for exposed applications.
Adhesive Layer
HDT-AN is supplied with a specially designed hot melt adhesive layer. The adhesive is applied during the extrusion process, resulting in a very smooth and consistent adhesive layer that ensures excellent sealing properties.
Applications
HDT-AN is ideal for sealing underground or exposed inline cable joints and terminations.
