Permabond POP – Polyolefin Primer
Permabond POP has been formulated as a primer for the surface treatment of polyolefins, silicones, and PTFE before bonding with our cyanoacrylate adhesives.
Due to their low surface energy, plastics such as PP, PE, silicones, and PTFE are difficult to bond without a special surface treatment. Therefore, with the use of Permabond Polyolefin Primer, stronger and more durable bonds between substrates can be achieved.

Permabond POP Applications
Ideal for bonding plastics such as PTFE, Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE), and Silicones.
Surface Preparation
- Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease before applying Permabond POP.
- Brush, clean, immerse, or spray Permabond POP onto the low-energy surface.
- Allow the components to dry completely before bonding.
Recommendation
To achieve maximum adhesion strength, allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours at 23°C.
