The card is a plug-and-play card which can be used in IC500, IC1000, WP1000, IC3000, WP3000 and WP3100 controllers. The WP3045 can be used for internal machine communication and/or for network communication between more controllers/machines. The card uses 62.5? glass optic fibre cable which provide the optimal lightning and overvoltage protection and make the card suitable for industrial use. The baud rate is flexible and can be set in the controller. 62.5? optic fibre cable is suitable for fast communication over short and long distances, termination of the cable must be handled by professionals. The maximum distance is calculated based on a power budget for the communication network.
