Adaptable Thermoplastic Boxes IP65

These boxes are available in gray RAL7035 and offer impact resistance up to 6 joules (IK10). They maintain dimensional stability within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C.

IP Rating

The IP rating system classifies the degree of protection provided by an enclosure against solid objects and liquids. The first digit refers to protection against solids, while the second digit refers to protection against liquids.

• 0 - No protection
• 1 - Protected against solid objects larger than 50mm (e.g., accidental contact with a hand) and protected against dripping water (condensation)
• 2 - Protected against solid objects larger than 12mm (e.g., fingers) and protected against dripping water
• 3 - Protected against solid objects larger than 2.5mm (tools and wires) and protected against direct spray of water at angles up to 15° from the vertical
• 4 - Protected against solid objects larger than 1mm (small tools and wires) and protected against spraying water from all directions
• 5 - Protected against dust; limited ingress, not forming harmful deposits. Protected against jets of water at low pressure
• 6 - Totally protected against dust. Protected against jets of water at high pressure (can be used on boat decks)
• 7 - Protected against the effects of immersion between 15cm and 1m
• 8 - Protected against prolonged periods of immersion under pressure
