XPS ATE Safety Relay

The XPS ATE is a dual-channel safety relay with programmable delay (0-30 s).

Features:

• 2 instantaneous N/O outputs with category 0 stop, allowing for immediate machine shutdown.
• 3 programmed N/O contacts with category 1 stop, enabling controlled motor deceleration until complete stop.
• 4 solid-state outputs for PLC signaling.
• Monitored start button.
• Delay time: 0 – 30 s, adjustable in 12 steps using the selector switch on the front panel of the module.

Safety Functions:

Provides protection for both machinery and operators by immediately halting dangerous movements upon receiving a stop command from the operator or detecting a fault in the safety circuit. Applications include safety mats, safety edges, emergency stop, and safety doors.

Monitoring and Protection:

• 2-channel monitoring and feedback loop.
• Short-circuit monitoring on contacts, between channels, and ground fault monitoring.
• Input channel voltage: 48 Vdc
• 4 LEDs to indicate power/control fuse, input channel A and B, and category 1 stop outputs.
• Internal electronic fuse for resetting input channels upon removing the fault.
• Synchronization time between inputs A and B when using the automatic start function: approx. 75 ms.

Ease of Maintenance:

Extractable terminals for simple and quick maintenance.
