The torque meter consists of a handheld device and an external torque sensor. The torque sensor connects to the torque meter via a 1.5 m cable, allowing installation in a testing machine or direct mounting on a test bench. We ship the torque meter adjusted from the factory, allowing the user to perform measurements as soon as they receive it. Optionally, you can request an ISO calibration certificate for this torque meter. This certification is a comparison between nominal and actual values. This uses a traceable standard, which allows you to check the accuracy of the device. The uncertainty of the torque meter is only 0.5% of the full scale. Thanks to this, you can use this torque meter as a reference device in the control and adjustment of static torque meters. To measure dynamic torque moments, it is essential to use a threaded union. The sensor socket of the torque meter is 1/2" square internal. The sensor allows measurement in both directions: left and right. With a measurement rate of 1600 Hz, you can accurately measure the maximum torque moment (Peak). The torque meter display shows the trigger moment separately. You can clear it manually or automatically once the adjusted time has elapsed. The torque meter integrates an alarm function whose values you can adjust freely. The torque meter can warn the user of overload of the torsion tool if it does not trigger. You can use the included software to perform a more detailed analysis of the torsional forces.
