Pull switch for detection of twisted cables. Complete set delivered with wire and stop ball. Part of the safety chain. The SIEK-UV1 Pull Switch is used for limiting the number of times the cables are twisted in a wind turbine. Usually the pull switch is mounted as an extra detection. Normally the software counts the number of CW/CCW via an inductive sensor, if the number is higher than x the cable will be untwisted. If this measurement fails the pull switch is activated and it signals that the wind turbine must be stopped. The auxiliary switches are of a positive opening type, thus suitable for safety functions.The pull switch is often a part of the wind turbine safety chain. Materials and components are wear resistant and protect the equipment against water and dust.
