TEF4-OFF Electronic Timer

The TEF4-OFF is an electronic front-mounted timer used for timing functions and providing a compact solution within the cabinet compared to separate timers. TEF4 electronic timers are mounted on the front and locked into AF, AFC or NF, NFC relay contactors. A mechanical indicator allows for display of the contactor status.

TEF4 electronic timers are powered through a direct connection in parallel with the A1 - A2 coil terminals of the contactor or relay. An integrated varistor is present in the timer to offer integrated protection against overvoltages on the contactor coil. The TEF4 is available for a wide range of control voltage from 24...240 V AC/DC.

Features

• TEF4 allows delayed functions up to 100 s in 3 different time ranges, regardless of the control system.
• The time delay ranges are selected using a switch and the time delay can be adjusted using a rotary switch.
• The timing function of the TEF4-OFF is activated by opening the device in which the timer is mounted.
• The version with disconnect delay operates without additional control supply.
