ABB LineStrong Cable Operated Switches

The ABB LineStrong professional series cable operated switch, also known as a cable pull switch or cable tie switch, can be installed along or around hard-to-reach machinery, such as conveyor belts, and provides constant access to the emergency stop function. The positive mode mechanism helps ensure immediate closure of the contacts and can only be reset by pressing the blue button.

The design of this safety switch also provides protection against disconnections and the effects of thermal expansion. The LineStrong switch includes an emergency stop button with a mushroom-head design that allows for activation of the emergency stop even from the ends of the installation. The status indicator facilitates the installation of this cable operated switch, and its installation at a distance of up to 125 m.
