The ABB S200 series of MCBs offers a compact solution for protection requirements. These miniature circuit breakers are current limiting and DIN rail mountable, and can provide a good equivalent for systems protected by fuses.

C Curve Characteristics

The C curve devices offer a response to short circuits of 5-10 x rated current, making them suitable for circuits with high input currents, such as motor control and fluorescent lighting installations in industrial buildings. Where noise could cause incorrect tripping if a faster type was used.
