Automotive Clamp Meter with Bluetooth 4.0
The automotive clamp meter is the ideal device for measuring voltages up to 1500 V AC/DC and currents up to 1000 A AC/DC. This meter measures current inductively. To do this, you simply place the line or cable inside the automotive clamp meter. This has the advantage that you can perform the measurement while current is flowing. Therefore, this automotive clamp meter is used, for example, for maintenance work on photovoltaic installations. A photovoltaic installation consists of many solar cells that are connected in series. With this automotive clamp meter, you can measure the current of each series and limit possible failures. In addition to measuring conventional voltage and current, the automotive clamp meter also measures inrush current. Inrush current is the current that is particularly high at the moment of start-up. These currents are generated when a motor starts, for example, ventilation systems or stadium lighting. This measurement with the automotive clamp meter is especially important for sizing the power line and fuses. Frequency converters are converters that emit voltage on the primary side with a modified frequency and amplitude on the secondary side. With the automotive clamp meter and the VFD measurement function (abbreviation for Variable Frequency Driver), you can perform measurements up to a frequency of 45 Hz ... 1 kHz. The automotive clamp meter integrates a Bluetooth 4.0 interface. With this, you can connect the automotive clamp meter to an Android or iOS terminal. The free app "Meterbox Pro" allows you to view the values of the automotive clamp meter and store them for later analysis. With the data logging function, the clamp can store values in an interval that you can freely adjust. When you have finished the measurement, you can see the values graphically on the automotive clamp meter. The automotive clamp meter allows you to read each measurement point individually. The memory of the automotive clamp meter has 16 groups and a total memory for 100,000 values. The data is stored in the automotive clamp meter with date and time. You can expand the automotive clamp meter with an optional clamp. The additional clamp is flexible and therefore can be adapted to the measurement task. With the optional clamp, you can perform current measurements up to 3000 A AC. The flexible clamp connects to the voltage input of the automotive clamp meter. The automotive clamp meter converts the voltage value into a usable current value that can be displayed on the screen. Thanks to its multiple functions and its high measurement range, the automotive clamp meter is used, for example, to check photovoltaic systems, hydroelectric and wind power plants or for the installation of fixed electrical machines. You can optionally request a calibration certificate for the automotive clamp meter.
