The PCE-2500N portable metal hardness tester stands out for its ease of use. However, the hardness tester is no larger than a conventional pen. This allows the user to perform measurements anywhere. The surface non-destructive measurement is performed by an indenter. The value displayed on the screen is calculated by a rebound.

With the metal hardness tester, you can measure in HRC, HRB, HRA, HB, HV, and HS units on materials such as steel, cast steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, spheroidal graphite, aluminum alloys, brass, bronze, and tin bronze. The metal hardness tester also has internal memory. However, please note that this memory cannot be read from the PC. The metal hardness tester uses a type D indenter that calculates hardness from the rebound.
