Fronius Primo 8.2-1 WLAN

Primo 8.2-1 WLAN Inverter

The Primo 8.2-1 WLAN inverter from the prestigious Fronius brand features power ranges from 3kW to 8.2kW. This inverter has 2 MPPTs (4 inputs) and a wide voltage range of 80V-800V. With a maximum voltage of 1000V and a maximum current of 18A, we can achieve 12.3kWp in our photovoltaic installation.

Features

  • Power ranges from 3kW to 8.2kW
  • 2 MPPTs (4 inputs)
  • Wide voltage range: 80V-800V
  • Maximum voltage: 1000V
  • Maximum current: 18A
  • WLAN module for data monitoring via internet (models with "WLAN" in description)

Active Cooling Technology

The active cooling technology is based on one or more fans that not only prevent heat fields but also regulate the air circulation inside the inverter, keeping the temperature of its power electronics low. This has a positive effect on the lifespan of the devices, optimizes performance and reduces costs. At Fronius, Active Cooling is a standard technological feature in all devices.

SnapINverter Design

The SnapINverter generation of inverters is characterized by its simple standardized mounting system. Installation and maintenance are easier than ever. A special feature in the design of the unit is the separation between the connection area and the power stage area. Both areas are mounted separately.

After assembling the lightweight wall mount and wiring the unit, the power stage is installed. The innovative casing opening concept makes assembly and service extremely easy. The inverter is hooked onto the wall mount to secure it. Therefore, in case of service, it is not necessary to remove the entire inverter, but only the power stage. All wiring remains in place.

Communication Package

We are the first inverter manufacturer to offer a communication package with data logging, wireless WLAN connection, Ethernet, energy management, a web server and numerous interfaces. Thus, the inverter connects to the internet via network cable or WLAN without additional cabling and provides a perfect visualization of the photovoltaic system's operation.

It can be connected to components from other manufacturers thanks to interfaces such as Modbus TCP SunSpec, Modbus RTU SunSpec or Fronius Solar API (JSON). In addition, open interfaces can be used in parallel to Fronius Solar.web.

SuperFlex Design

The Fronius SuperFlex design combines all the technical requirements for a very simple and flexible photovoltaic system design. The most important factors of the SuperFlex design are:

  • Two Maximum Power Point (MPPT) trackers
  • ...
