S51 Photoelectric Sensor Series

The S51 photoelectric sensor series offers a wide range of functions and operating distances. S51 sensors are available with axial or radial optics of 90°. In both cases, the optical head and lenses do not protrude beyond the external diameter of 18 mm of the sensor housing.

Operating Ranges

• Proximity-Diffuse Model: Fixed operating range of 10 cm with a wide emission spectrum. Also available is a version with an adjustable operating range from 1 to 40 cm.
• Standard Retro-Reflective Models: Operating range up to 4 m.
• Polarized Retro-Reflective Models: Used for reliable detection of reflective objects, equipped with a sensitivity adjustment and an operating range of 3.5 m.
• Bidirectional Models: Used for longer operating distances, reaching up to 18 meters.
